TOU Half Marathon

Done and done! So, even though I was a big slacker and did not train like I should have, I made it to the finish line. (I even beat my previous time.) Can I just say, for anyone interested in doing a half marathon, this is the one to do!!!! The course was amazing with 90% of it being down hill/flat. The canyon was beautiful and we had a nice cold breeze to boot. I could not have asked for nicer running weather! It was an awesome race, now what's next!?

A Yummy Treat!

Who doesn't like cheesecake? Who doesn't like cheesecake covered in chocolate? If you don't, these are not for you. We made these with the kids the other day. They were so good and so super easy, try them!

.....this is what I came home to after my a.m. run..ughh!

This is what I came home to after my run on Tuesday.....Yah, Avery had gone to sleep with silly puddy in her hand and woke up with it her hair. Not the worst thing ever. However, since I was not home when she got up, Chase took care of it.....by cutting it out of her hair. AAAAHHHHHHHH! Feeling pretty lucky no one was severly injured as they used my hair cutting shears to do the job. Sorry girls, I won't be running with you on thursday!
