We were lucky enough to actually get out this season and do some skiing. Andy and I hit the slopes at 9am and four hours of nervous snow plowing later, my knees had had enough. I really thought skiing would be like riding a bike, "once you learn, you never forget"....not so much. I spent the first 45 minutes on the bunny hill trying to jog my memory of previous skiing outings. For some strange reason my mind remembered but was unable to make my muscles comply. I had a hard time finding the confidence I had in my youthful years and the sense of adventure that went along with that. Instead, I snow plowed for seriously four hours straight until I thought I was gonna blow out a knee. Andy was such a trooper. He stayed by me the entire time coaching me down some sweet hills. He could have been skiing circles around me, but he didn't. What a great hubby!! We had a great time and I'm glad we were able to go.
