Well, it's been a while since I last posted. I'm not even sure I can catch up, or if I should try....Girl's Camp was the summer's biggest hurdle so we'll start there. Everyone knows how much I LOVE Girl's Camp!!!(or should know) and this year was not a disappointment. As a prologue: I thought I was handling the stress of planning pretty well when two weeks before heading to the mountains I had a case of the shingles....yep, stress induced shingles. Who actually gets that? I guess I wasn't "handling" the stress as well as I thought. I was able to take some meds to make me feel better and I was on my way. Monday I headed up to the 4th year hike with my awesome fourth year girls. We hiked in the hot hot sun for a couple of hours then set up camp. Tuesday, we met up with our group. They are so great!!! they had the whole camp set up and ready by the time we got in. What a relief!!! The rest of the week was filled with games, devotionals, tubing and fun!!! I am so greatful for this calling! I serve with an awesome group of ladies! and an even better group of girls!!!! They have all taught me a lot, and put up with a lot in return!!!

What? How did I not know that you had shingles??? That is the worst. You are amazing. You never even said one word about it when we were running. Seriously... you are amazing. I'm glad you made it through camp and had fun. I hear you were fabulous!!
Wow! I had no idea!!! I saw you the week before you were heading off to camp and you weren't sure what was up. I'm so sorry! I had a companion on my mission that had the shingles. Not fun! Are you okay now? Looks like you all had a fun and amazing time at camp!!!
